New Website Design
Creating a brand new website is like building a new house. It is a very exciting time and ideas abound. And just like designing a new house, it is important that all of the important things are included while remaining in scope of the overall budget. Laubacher Multimedia has developed a process to ensure that a new website includes all of the necessary information and features, stays within budget, and is positioned to meet or exceed the business goals that prompted the decision to build the website in the first place.

For brand new web sites we typically begin with a Competitive Analysis. This analysis is performed by one of our Internet Marketing Professionals and provides several key pieces of information that are used in the design and contruction including prime keywords, competition ranking, keyword ranking, and suggested pages.
Once the Competitive Analysis is complete a Design Meeting is held to discuss layout ideas, color scheme, and to create a content requirements list. Our Designers can then start designing the website concepts. (See Process and Pricing below)
Website Facelift
The way people are using the Internet has evolved substantially in the past few years. Users are becoming more sophisticated and are now using the Internet as their primary source for information, instead of a suplimental source of information. This has made many websites that were developed just a few years ago obsolete or at least less interesting than more current sites.
Laubacher Multimedia's Website Facelift service can help bring your website back to life. The end result is much like a New Website Design, but we put more emphasis on past successes and failures and can typically start with putting analytics on the current website for a period of time to see what users are doing.

eCommerce Websites
Website that sell products online usually have their own set of design requirements that are different than content-only websites. Laubacher Multimedia design team has the experienceand know-how to design ecommerce websites so that they will be user friendly and easy to shop. We can add ecommerce to an existing site, or build a new website with an ecommerce purpose.
There are two primary ecommerce types; shopping cart and payment processor. Shopping cart websites typically have many products in categories and sometimes sub categories. Users often times buy more than one product at a time or buy more than one product over a period of time.
Payment processorwebsitesare typically sites where the user is paying for a particular item. For example registering for an event or paying a monthly bill. It can also be used for donations to non-profits or causes.

Pricing and Process
The design of a website is one of the four components of our website pricing process. Design, Development, Marketing, & Management.
The design part of the cost typically falls into one of our two programs; Essentials Design and Professional Design. More complex ecommerce sites or sites with more than 30 to 40 pages are priced on an hourly basis because of the higher complexity.
Essentials Design
A good choice if speed is of the essence. Choose from hundreds of design templates and we will tailor it to meet your needs. Have up to 8 pages, select from thousands of images or incorporate your own. One round of design revisions included. Typically implemented in 10 to 15 business days.
Professional Design
For those looking to compete on the web the Professional Design option is the right choice. A custom designed web site build to your specifications and professionally optimized for maximum results. Include up to 30 pages, select from thousands of images or incorporate your own. Work with your own personal design team, which includes an internet marketing professional, a design professional, and a project manager. Three rounds of design changes included. Typically implemented in 30 to 45 business days. Additional design requirements and customizations are priced on an hourly basis.
Our Process
Our design process starts with a design meeting. During the meeting our designer meets with you to go over our Design Questionnaire, which consists of a series of questions that help us determine your likes and dislikes, but more importantly, what design elements will be requried to make your site work. Our designer then creates 2 or 3 design concepts based on the notes from the meeting. You then have 1 to 3 (depending on the type of design) design change requests to get the design perfected.
